The Tree House has a main living area that is on a 2nd level, giving it a true tree house feel and vantage point for wildlife viewing.

Each bedroom has a queen bed (one bedroom has a single bed above the queen), complete with mosquito netting and fans. The house is well-ventilated, with many windows and a breezeway. Great air-flow is accomplished through use of a cupola and large openings all around the house. The open-air porch downstairs includes hammocks, and the kitchen and living room are positioned upstairs to take advantage of the views toward the ocean and wildlife habitat.

Enjoy the natural wonders just outside the windows — four kinds of monkeys visit often. The wildlife includes toucans, macaws, sloths, blue morpho butterflies, anteaters, pistes, agoutis, and iguanas just to name a few. Mangos, avocados, papaya, pineapple, and other fruits are available on the property depending on the season.

The beautiful landscaping of our grounds can be viewed from the house or by strolling the paths that lead to the beach.

Located in the tropical rainforest, secluded on a quiet beach, this property provides unique proximity to rainforest flora and fauna plus beachfront privacy at its best! Monkeys visit the property daily, while macaws visit to eat the almonds in the treetops at eye-level from open-air Casa Dos Rios. You may even catch a glimpse of an anteater crossing the front lawn.

The Tree house WAS hand-crafted by its ORIGINAL owner, an American builder, and utilizes local area hardwoods. The casita is newly renovated with a covered yoga deck.

The location is one of the best in Cabo Matapalo, with Martina’s Buena Esperenza Bar-Restaurant a two-minute stroll up the road.

Amenities include wifi internet access, level front lawn leading out to the beach's edge, fresh fruit on-site (seasonally), large open living spaces, a yoga deck, hammocks, and a sea kayak. Guests also enjoy a clear-water river nearby, great for wading and relaxing in. Drinking water comes from our aquifer and well.

The property is located between two rivers.

The closest river provides a refreshing pool of sparkling clearwater for your enjoyment after swimming and surfing.

The home is off the grid with solar power, well water, and propane tanks for stoves and water heaters. The manager lives on site and is available to help make your stay comfortable. He can book your tours, arrange hikes and fishing, as well as provide cleaning and laundry service. The home has doors and shutters that lock, but no screens aside from the bed nets.
